Well, how was the break??? In a word-fast! But I do feel more energized and am at least ready to tackle the next three weeks until the end of the quarter with more gusto.
We have a busy few weeks ahead until the end of the quarter with our Global Natives project due on the 26th and our Sign of the Beaver book reports due the week before. It is so important that you all pace yourselves and set daily goals for where you want to be. If you waste time now, you will pay for it later. Give yourself every opportunity to achieve success, keep looking at the rubrics and aim high!
We are also nearly half way through our Geometry unit in the Everyday Math program. It has been great seeing how much fun the kids have been having reviewing their math skills using www.brainpop.com Parents, check out this site, it is great fun I am sure you will agree.
Hi Mrs Power!!!
I have nearly finished my book report so that helps with my native time. I have also nearly finished my native project, but I still need some more paragraphs to type up. My October break was fantastic!!! I got to pat a baby elephant called RaRa.(it’s a girl) She was only like a centimeter higher than me!!!
It has been nice talking to you.
Bye!!!
