News about Spring Fling, Thursday April 23rd

Dear Students,

On April 23rd at 10:00 an event unlike any other will take place.  The second annual Grade 5 Spring Fling:  A Thinking Olympics will happen on the Puxi Campus.  All grade 5’s from both schools will be involved in some exciting problem solving activities.
On the day a BBQ Lunch outside will be provided for all students.  There will be water to drink and an ice cream for a treat.  If you need more to eat or want something special please bring it from home.  The day will involve many challenging tasks so you might need extra snacks to keep your energy levels high.

You will need to bring a change of clothes in case you get wet or sweaty during the activities.  Since we are eating outside on the grass areas you might also want to bring a towel or blanket to sit on during lunchtime.
The Spring Fling should be a fun and exciting way to build our SAS community across campuses.  If your parents want to come and watch, then they may join us at 10:00 outside in the covered area.  If you have any questions please feel free to email timber.montieth@saschina.org.
Thank You

Grade 5 Team

Students should have their log books completed by Friday morning. Many are working on their posters in class. Talk to your child and ask them how their project is going is going.
