Space Project

Here are the assessment rubrics for the Space Project. Students are assessed on how well they complete each of the criteria as well as a separate rubric for how well they do as a team to present their information to the class.

The students will be completing these tasks between now and Christmas. They will finish the bulk of the work by then; research is being completed this week and now they are preparing for their powerpoint, blueprint and brochure. After the break they will be presenting their project in full to each of the other groups in the class.

  2. Hello Mrs. Power,

The space project really tested some people’s leadership skills and let us realize that you must be a responsible team leader but to learn how to assign jobs to your group members. Thank you so much for guiding us through this challenging project.

To get a wider audience than just 5th graders in SAS will be a hard challenge. My ideas are:
1.Write catchy posts that people in the whole world will care about.
    2.State your mind!
3.Ask other people that you know from all around the world to pass on your blog URL.
4.Post comments on people’s blogs or websites from all over the world!
    5.Start linking!

*To answer your question about Jaeyoon’s question, I think Jaeyoon is right. You should post another one once you get a lot of comments. And then why stop there?! You keep posting. I believe that comments aren’t some popularity thing. You get comments by how well written your blog is, or how much effort and time you put in each post. You should continue to write posts not only for other people to see but for yourself as well.

And thank you for your support for Caramel. He is slowly getting better little by little. Each thought and heart counts! Thank you so much!
