Spring Fling is here…

Hello Students and Parents,

it was the night before Spring Fling and all through the house…not a creature was stirring not even a mouse!

I hope you all remember to bring water, snacks, towels and spare clothing so that you can get through the day as comfortably and enjoyably as possible. I am really excited about the coming activities and hope you enjoy the more reflective activity I have created for you in project area 5… Have a look here to see if you can work out what this activity might be about.

Spring Fling Desert Island Activity

Thanks to Mr Utecht for coming into class today and introducing us to some interesting ways to utilize Google Earth. I think the students have all made progress today understanding what it means to migrate as you will discover if you read any of the blogs I have seen posted so far such as Andy, Jessica, Elaine, Chloe and our sole male so far Kai.

  3. I just wanted to say to the students and staff that have contributed to this blog that its really interesting, with a fantastic set up. Its really interesting for students around the world to find other students blogs and this week at school Im going to make sure our students (in New Zealand) check this blog out. We are looking at the Olympics later in the year and I am sure that your students must be very excited about them coming up. Our class blog is tamakitoday.blogspot.com

  4. Hey Mrs. Power,
I like what you wrote about the ‘night before Spring Fling’ thing. haha! 😀 😀 😀
I am going to miss you in 6th grade!!!! I am sure EVERYBODY in 5K.P is going to miss you. I sure will.
I just want to say to Ben about his comment….
I thought it was really random. no offense. Because I was looking at the other comments like Andy’s and Min Ji’s but when I saw Ben’s comment which was:

I was wondering how do you find the surface area of a square pyramid?

I thought it was real random.
    Anyways…
Yeah, I’m gonna miss you so much Mrs. Power!!! 😥 😥 😥

Thanks For being such a great teacher!!!! 😀 😀 😀

PS: You can have a bit of Chocolate Cake from my party. 😉 😀
