Hello Students
Congratulations on your Science unit on Space. I hope you enjoyed the journey with Bill Nye as much as I did. Tonight or tomorrow night for homework I need you to go to Ms Yick’s blog to continue the review process of the unit. As we discussed in class today, I want you to write a 200-400 word post about the Space Unit. Now that I have looked at Ms Yick’s blog, I think that by following some of her questions as guidelines you might find this process easier. If not, just stick with the format on the board in class.
“The most exciting/interesting things I learned/know about Space are…”
The most interesting thing I leaned in space is when I watched the billnye space video it was way cooler then what I had expected it was when they talked about the about the astronouts that I was amazed the thing I was amazed about is that the things that are easy to do on earth are like mission imposible in space. Things like taking a shower are hard because the water does not come down they float above your head and they can`t take a shower with out sucking the water down. If you want to wash your hands you have to do it in a in a box so the water does not float away what a bummer.
Its night and you want to sleep do you thing you have to just lie down and you are ready to go it is much more harder in space first to avoid you and your blanket to float away you have to be stapped on to the bed and the bed its self just a thin matteres stuck on the walls or the floor it does not matter because you won`t be able to tell where is down anyway. Turning a doornob won`t be easy either first when you turn the door nob you are the one who is going to be the one whois going to turn not the door nob so you are going to have to hang onto some thing.
If you have to do somthing that incluides going out side and pushing a lever up or down once you push the lever down you may never come back down that is why they made foot rests and that is the end of my two hundred word report!
