TeacherTube Videos – It’s a Book.

I hope you enjoy this as much as I did.

To give some background on this clip, my colleague and friend, Mrs Toa told me about this clip on the weekend and it sounds just perfect considering some of the work I am doing through my Plymouth Library course, as well as just the general humor of it anyway. It is certainly relevant considering all the tech conferences I have been too recently. It also makes me think of how my 9 and 3 year old daughters handle technology, Mimi (3) always wants images to slide across the screen after hanging out with iphones etc for half her life and gets frustrated when images don’t move.

    I was wondering if you still have 5KP (of 2009-2010)’s blog passwords, ‘cuz I forgot mine………..just kidding, but seriously do you? I was just wondering. I was looking at your students’ blogs, and I think you’re gonna have another year with a lot more tech-kids! Especially now that you get to use the new macs… :mrgreen: See you around school!   3. The sticky note thingy on your dashboard??? I’m not sure if your computer has this, but on mine on F4 theres this picture of a sort of weird looking compass, which is where your dashboard is. On the bottom left hand corner there should be a plus sign, thats where you add more things to your dashboard, the sticky is on the 2nd page, and the title is “Stickies”, then just drag it to your dashboard. If you roll over the bottom right hand corner of the sticky, there will be an “i”, click on that and you can change the color of your sticky. Another thing you might be referring to is another kind of sticky, just go to spotlight and type in “stick”, the top hit should be “stickies” and there you go! to change the color of the sticky click on one of your stickies and on the top click on colors. One thing i really like is “My Day”, just type in those exact words. Its an application where you just type in the task, and when you’ve finished the task, you check it off, and it disappears, really helpful.
